Seagal Predicts: Rand Paul’s Armed EPA agents

seagal-predictsFor the second time in a week I was reading the news and the current headlines reminded me of something Seagal put in a movie years ago. So just in case this becomes a regular occurrence I decided to call this topic Seagal Predicts.

This one comes from that guy Rand Paul, son of Ron Paul (BRUNO) and winner of the Kentucky Republican Senate primary on Tuesday. Now that he’s in a senate race he’s having to live down all the outside-of-the-mainstream opinions he’s mouthed off about in the past, which it turns out is gonna be a hefty task because he’s a regular guest on the Alex Jones radio show.

I bring this up not to disagree with or make fun of any of those opinions, but just to point out that one of them was a claim that if the climate bill passed we would have “an army of armed EPA agents.” I think you know where I’m going with this:

Of course, Seagal didn’t need an army. In fact, he did pretty good when he wasn’t armed, too. But he played an armed, undercover EPA agent who went into Kentucky and busted businesses who were not living up to environmental standards. (and also murdering people.) Sounds like FIRE DOWN BELOW hit a little too close to home for Paul.

So Seagal in FIRE DOWN BELOW is Rand Paul’s worst nightmare. But if it’s any consolation to him, a Seagal character has also said positive things about “The Patriot Movement” that Paul is associated with. In THE PATRIOT Seagal said of anti-government militias, “I think the ideology of some of these folks is good.” As long as they’re not using chemical weapons for terrorism Seagal is open to what they have to say.

  1. I really hope the GOP gets behind this guy the way they got behind Palin and just give us another election. Do they not look into anyone’s background anymore to see if they are either qualified or at least not racist as hell.

  2. I had a dream last night I was watching Segal movies with a friend and arguing about which DTV spy product to watch next. I blame this site.

Seagal versus Paul (I’d by that for a dollar…)

Damnit!! I left out the “U” but I’m still Fly as Black Dynamite!!

  5. Eh? Seagal vs me? He’d snap my arm like a twig. It wouldn’t even be a fight. I’d be like the first guy who tries to punch Seagal in the bar fight in “On Deadly Ground”, except that I’d be running around in circles and squealing like a four-year-old girl.

One of Seagal’s better DTV efforts and the Simpsons movie – the true uncredited prophetic visions of our age.

  6. “Seagal Predicts”. Love it!

  7. seagal found a hole in time, now he makes movies to point an ex con movie watcher to a coming disaster involving danny trejo in arizona, not fucking the hot chick and instead talking to the old lady, alleged sex trafficking and vampires. and molesting katherine heigl.
    outlaw and the shaman.
    coming 2011.

  8. Sounds like IZO to me.

  9. Breaking Seagalogy news: Seagal is supposedly doing a 13-part hourlong TV series called Southern Justice, where he plays “Elijah Kane the leader of an undercover group of cops that chases down the bad guys in the Seattle, Washington area.”
